This was a commission to create a multimedia piece that aimed to dispel any commonly held views that are not in line with the reality of participating in a clinical research trial, and to address common concerns that people may have about participating in such trials, and which may act as a barrier to them participating.
I came up with the concept of creating a patient-led, patient-focused piece that engages the target audience through the voice and experiences of a fellow patient – a patient who has significant experience of participating in clinical research trials, going on to then provide the experiences of a diversity of people to show the inclusive nature of trials.
