Client Profile: Impact Hub King’s Cross

Impact Hub King’s Cross is a co-working space and social enterprise based, as the name suggests, in the King’s Cross are of London. They are part of an international network of co-working spaces, and provide work areas and business support in a variety of forms to other social enterprises, charities, small businesses and freelancers.

I started working with them in 2018, when I was asked to take images of their members and interior shots for their 2017 impact report.

The Hub organises events on a regular basis – from programs promoting and nurturing social entrepreneurialism, to a series of talks exploring issues around the current food system, as well as one-off events such as putting ‘Social Impact on Trial’.

They also organise events with external partners, such as PwC and Dopper, as part of programs initiated by those organisations to support entrepreneurs and start-ups aiming to have a social or environmental impact.

I’ve been fortunate enough to document many of these events over the past year.

But all work and no play would be dull, and so the Hub also organises events that simply aim to bring people together to, such as the 10th anniversary party organised in December.

There are also regular, informal events for members to get to know one another, and the Hub staff.

The Impact Hub King’s Cross space and team are great, offering lots of support for businesses and charities of all shapes and sizes, and at all stages of their development.

So, if you’re looking for a place to work, surrounded by lots of good people doing good work, then check out the Impact Hub King’s Cross website, book a tour, and consider becoming a member – https://kingscross.impacthub.net/
